Lee-Ann Mokopo popularly known as Gogo Maweni is a South African Sangoma and a reality Tv star. She is best known for starring on Mzansi Magic’s reality show Izangoma Zodumo season 1 and season 2.

She gained popularity in 2020 with the first season of the reality Tv show. She shared her journey as a morden day Sangoma and how being a Sangoma has affected her life.

Gogo Maweni is rumoured to share a son with The Queen Actor Sthembiso Khoza, popularly known as Sk Khoza. She previously made headlines after taking the handsome actor to court for maintenance.

Gogo Maweni trended on social media platforms last week after Sk Khoza’s disturbing behaviour. Twitter dragged her and accused her of bewitching Sk into becoming that. Social media accused Gogo Maweni using muti and being responsible for SK’s questionable behaviour.

Gogo Maweni once said that if her children do not eat, no one will eat either, this is the reason why she was blamed for Sk’s behaviour.

The reality Tv star shared pictures on her social media platforms and people noticed something very strange, something that is famous in the Africa and it is believed to be used to transport witches.

She had a broom in her hut, and she was holding a snake wrapped around her neck.

People noticed that there was a broom, and one tweeter user commented commented with this below: “Une Aviation futhi”, which translates to “you also fly”.

Being a Sangoma is not something acepted easily in society, it comes with a lot of responsibilities and judgement. These people have snakes.

Sangomas are always looked at as people who are witches and they get blamed for anything bad that happens to people around them and to people that they do not get along with.
