Makhadzi ‘Ndivhudzannyi Ralivhona’ wins big at the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards

Her newfound fame has managed thrust her amongst the biggest African acts when it comes to music. Limpopo born and bred musician Makhadzi is topping the trends after she scooped the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards under the Favourite African Star category.

She has been capping her illustrious career with some accolades of late. The Ghanama hitmaker outshined the DJ duo The Major League DJz, Focalistic, Nigerian superstar Tems, and Pitso Mosimane.

In recent months, she has made headlines with her big wins. She made headlines when she beat Nigerian Superstar Burna Boy and Afo Pop sensation Fally Ipupa to walk away with the annual AFRIMA award.

Her win saw her joining a host of South African A-celebs who have managed to win the annual Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards. She joins the likes of radio and tv personalities Anele Mdoda and singer Sho Madjozi. Taking it to Instagram, Makhadzi was overjoyed for her wi. She posted:

“…dancing and sweating, selling CDs at train stations and taxi ranks….”

The 26-year-old Ndivhudzannyi Ralivhona once opened up about her struggles to fame. She revealed that she used to sell discs and perform in taxi ranks to make ends meet. She is proud of her humble beginnings. No doubt she has rags to riches story to tell.
