Lebohang Motsoeli, a well-known sports presenter, has decided to leave sports broadcasting after nearly 20 years to focus on establishing a nursing school. Motsoeli, who is known for hosting “Sport on SABC1” and “Sports with Lebo M” on Metro FM, announced on Twitter that she will no longer be behind the microphone and will instead concentrate on running her “Future Nurses Nursing School,” an accredited nursing school in Germiston, with excellence and diligence.

The broadcaster’s career took off during the 2010 World Cup matches. She was the only South African broadcaster to co-host a Eurosport World Cup show with Arsen Wenger, the former Arsenal manager, and Roger Milla, the former Cameroonian professional footballer. Motsoeli’s fans praised her achievements to the sporting world and wished her well in the future.
