AKA brings black Twitter to tears as he pens emotional message to Nellie Tembe (See message)

Rapper AKA remembered his fiancée, Anele ”Nellie” Tembe in a heartfelt tribute on Twitter on Monday.

Nellie Tembe plunged to her death from the 10th floor of the Pepperclub Hotel in Cape Town on Sunday 11 April 2021. Today marks a year since her tragic death.

AKA took to Twitter to pen an emotional message to Anele. “I’ll remember this day for the rest of my life. 11/04/2021. Everyday I pray for the healing of your family and my family. I hope one day we can all come together and pay our respects to you and your memory at the same place and at the same time,” AKA said.

The emotional message brought so many tweeps to tears and some made these comments:

@Mojaleefa May her soul continues to rest in peace…Time heals, and one day both families will look back and appreciate the good times they shared with her. It’s not an easy road, but God is in control.

@ZweliKingDhlomo Love and Strength to you Mega. You are in my thoughts and prayers bro… I pray you heal one day.

@MwanaWaGetty Shame, I lived in the block next to the hotel she died in. I remember waking up early in the morning to go to work and saw her body covered on the road, didn’t know it was her until later. The energy was so dark and heavy that day.

Condolence to Kiernan Forbes (AKA) and the Nellie Tembe family on their loss. It’s obvious that AKA really loved Nellie. Nellie had a beautiful life to live sadly it has end may her soul Rest in Peace.

Meanwhile, AKA has been lambasted for moving on too early despite mourning for Nellie. The award-winning rapper recently announced his new relationship with Nadia Nakai. After months of trying to keep their romance out of the public eye, local rappers AKA and Nadia Nakai have finally confirmed that indeed they are a couple. The announcement was met with mixed reactions.
