I Want My Half, Husband Demands

Pabi Moloi is a famous TV presenter, radio DJ, and media personality. She has been on our screens for more than 2 decades.

In May 2016, the gorgeous DJ was rumored to be a married woman. Married a man known as Ruan Adams. However, the media personality denies having married Ruan in a civil or customary marriage. Adams insists that he paid R25 000 lobola to her family and has pictures to prove their union.

 

 

 

 
The couple has a child together but unfortunately, had a breakup a year later. There was drama in their breakup as the ‘ex-husband’ was complaining that he was not allowed to see the baby.

Fast forward to 2022 the estranged husband is demanding half of the estate owned by Pabi. The multimillion estate includes 6 houses, furniture, cars, shares, savings, and investments. As if that was not enough he is also demanding a spousal allowance of R8 500 a month so he can live the luxurious life he was got used to during their ‘marriage’.

According to South African law the definition of marriage is “It is a marriage entered into between a man and a woman, negotiated and celebrated according to the prevailing customary law in their community. A customary marriage is recognised as a valid marriage and will receive full legal protection irrespective of whether it is monogamous or
