The Dj is a real definition of beauty with brains. DBN is a lawyer in real life; she holds a Degree in Law from a Univesity in France. After graduating with her degree, she worked in France for a year and later relocated to Durban to focus on her music career.
Following moving to Durban in 2018, the queen made her music on a low profile. She was just a regular Dj till 2020, when she featured as Dj on Channel O’s Lockdown party. Ever since she was featured on Channel O, DBN Gogo took the music industry by storm.
With her magnetic energy on stage, the queen has been winning big. In February, she brought the house down during her performance at Big Brother Mzansi 2022. Due to her fantastic performance on Big Brother, she became a cover picture of True Love Magazine. She celebrated her victory with her fans on Instagram, and many congratulated her.

Mzansi has questioned DBN Gogo’s road to stardom with her newly found fame. Several sources blame her for using her family’s name so she could make it big in her career. After keeping it cool for some time, the musician wrote that she worked hard for her success on her Instagram. In her own words, DBN Gogo said:
“I started from the bottom; what my family represents has had no impact on my career.
“Instead, my parents only found out two years ago that I was taking DJing as a serious profession. I can thank my friends in the music industry for assisting me and providing an opportunity for me to participate and show off my talent”.
