Pearl Thusi is yet on the bad side of Twitter again because of her Tweet. Twitter can be nasty, especially to celebrities as they’re always on the spotlight. Whatever you say on Twitter can be twisted into something completely different to what you actually meant, even used against you in future.

Pearl Thusi is no stranger to the bad side of Twitter, because she’s one of the unlucky celebrities in Mzansi who are constantly bullied and dragged on social media. This time the actress is being criticized for discrediting the Grammy awards simply because the Nigerian artist Wiz Kid did not win. Tweeps started questioning why she did not congratulate Dj Black Coffee for scooping himself a Grammy, but chose to focus on Wiz Kid.

“Wiz not winning a Grammy is just another reason why I kinda don’t take the Grammy’s too seriously. It’s a celebratory/fun show with cool statuses. African artists have proved they don’t need them but they’re nice to have. But I could also be wrong. That’s just me…all love” She wrote.

Mzansi didn’t react well to Pearl Thusi’s tweet as it was viewed as jealousy. Tweeps found her words in bad taste since a South African Dj won a Grammy and Pearl Thusi chose to focus on Wiz. There’s no doubt that Wiz Kid is a great artist who deserved to win, but unfortunately the Nigerian artist did not win this time.
