Carol Bouwer is a well known South African businesswoman, television presenter and producer. She is multi-talented woman who is working very hard to achieve her dreams and have a brighter future. She was born in Soweto in Gauteng Province and she always wanted to be on television. She started her screen career with a presenting job on a commercial channel and her first big break came with the opportunity to present the youth dating show Buzz . She is intelligent and independent woman who values her life and she is gifted and successful. She has co-presented Motswako and she realised after a year that her passion lay in producing not only presenting. She is the owner of Carol Bouwer Productions which has produced numerous successful television series and documentaries, including Nowhere Land and Hooked.

She is also known for portraying the role of Kgomotso in Generations soapie opera on SABC 1 . Apart from being famous, she is a proud mother and a wife of Edward Bouwer a successful businessman and the couple met in Amsterdam and got married in 2000 .
