She was once married to Thabo Modise and their union lasted for seven years before they divorced, they were blessed with one son Phenyo. They are co-parenting their son. She is intelligent and independent woman who knows how to balance her career and her family. She is a graduate at University of Natal Durban with a BA Drama Honours degree in 1997 .
