With no sign of an end in sight, Julius Malema and Kenny Kunene appear to be engaged in a fierce verbal sparring session.
This is the second time in two years that Malema has taken his rival to an Equality court to demand an unreserved apology for his use of the term “cockroach.”
Even still, Kunene, a.k.a. the Sushi King, has refused to apologize, and the matter is now in court.
They appear to be ignoring the ongoing legal battle and talking about unrelated issues.
After Nhlanhla Lux was arrested and Kunene provided him with assistance, tensions have risen again in recent days.
Earlier this morning, Kunene threatened to make public what he dubbed “Malema’s interests in Zimbabwe,” before Lux was granted bail without objection.
Malema’s emoji response to the claims was absurdly funny, even if it wasn’t his usual mode of communication.
Malema’s economic ties in Zimbabwe cannot be determined with precision, but I believe that Kunene’s decision to reveal potentially explosive information that could implicate the CIC would be influenced significantly by the passage of time.
It’s safe to say that Kunene and Malema have a completely opposing view on illegal immigration, which was evident in the EFF’s first days.
However, in line with Pan-Africanist theory, the Malema supports the removal of borders to allow free movement of people between countries. However, the Department of Home Affairs has advocated for the strengthening of border controls to reduce the large inflow of illegal immigration
Whether or not Kunene’s evidence is credible is up to you.
