People have been less than impressed with Muvhango soapie recently. This soap opera has been on the air for almost twenty years, making it one of the country’s longest-running soap operas. As viewers were dissatisfied with the show’s content, it was predicted that it will be removed from the air entirely in 2020. It even lost a significant number of viewers due to the fact that the plots were no longer engaging.

In recent months, things seemed to be going well, however a big number of viewers have expressed their displeasure with the show’s plots. Many viewers were upset by the actors’ tendency to promote witchcraft in their plots, which they felt led to misunderstandings. Some of Susan’s episodes featured her utilizing muti “traditional herbs” to fight for her marriage, played by Maumela Mahuwa. Using ancient beliefs to make things work well was depicted in her speech. Muti was Regina Nesengani’s weapon of choice for Vho Masindi, the character played by Regina Nesengani.

According to some, the cast is spreading misinformation and encouraging people to practice witchcraft in these plotlines. The addition of new actors has sparked a backlash from viewers, while the show’s original cast members continue to disappoint. There were three new cast members introduced in a week, and viewers aren’t happy about it. In addition, the fact that Bukamina Fanele is playing a double role only exacerbated the problem. According to the opinions of the audience, this cast is merely rehashing old plotlines.

By recycling old plotlines, they’ve made viewers even more enraged, so they’ve phoned the SABC for it to be taken off television..
