Basetsana Julia “Bassie” Kumalo is a South African television personality, beauty pageant titleholder, businesswoman, and philanthropist. Her career began in 1990 when she was crowned Miss Soweto and Miss Black South Africa at the age of 16.

Zanele Mbeki is a feminist South African social worker who founded the Women’s Development Bank. She is also a former first lady of South Africa.She was born and raised in Alexandra township, Gauteng Province in South Africa. She is the wife of the Former President of South Africa Thabo Mbeki.Zanele and Mbeki have been married since 1974 and their union is still going strong.

 

 

Basetsana Kumalo mentioned on her instagram account that every year they host the IWfSA International women’s Forum and tomorrow they are having the 20th Anniversary celebration. The forum was founded by Dr Zanele Mbeki, the wife of the former President of South Africa. Today they held a high tea party to welcome their International guests like Ms Helen Rule, Ms Ana Munoz and Ms Sandy Stash.They spend the afternoon together giving their guests a nice experience.
