CASTING NEWS: New Actor To Join House Of Zwide Revealed

Etv continues to dominate the entertainment industry with it’s original African stories and this includes the popupar soapie titled House Of Zwide. About 4 weeks ago it was revealed that actor and presenter Thembisa Nxumalo will be joining the show and take on the role of Nikiwe Ndlovu. He storyline revolves around bringing her quite interesting past concerning both Faith and Funani Zwide. Join us as we unpack more of the story below.

Entertainment Commentator Phil Mphela has revealed that Zinhle Mabena will be joining the soapie. Most of you are quite familiar with the face because of her previous roles in the most popular TV drama Isibaya that was discontinued. She was also featured in a handful of series and short movies. As per the report she is slotted to make her debut appearance tonight.

It all started after her iconic role on Mthunzini and all else was history. She went to be featured on a three year long series from the year 2006-2009. Her role on Isibaya cemented her name in the industry and that was coupled with a few short term roles on the sides.

I just love with when these roles are given to young people. We have been having an open conversation about the gatekeeper tendencies in the entertainment industry that is fueled by exploitation. House of Zwide has been very interesting so far and i wish it remains the same and does not lead to the case of Uzalo.
