Mzansi drags Generations The Legacy for the role it has given this lady, see below

“The fact that Mihlali Ndamase can’t even act to save her own YouTube channel, she just scooped herself an Acting role on Generations The Legacy… SA entertainment industry has no shame” Chris Excel said.

Mihlali Ndamase is a South African make-up artist, content creator, YouTuber and a social media influencer. Mihlali Ndamase is the biggest social media influencer who became popular when she started her YouTube channel to share with the world makeup tutorials.

A few years back, she scored a deal with Revlon, which she is still working with till to date. A few months back, she’s been keen on advertising Coca-Cola drinks. She has done few ads for brutal fruit fragrance too. Ndamase has worked with many brands so far.

Mzansi regard her as a slay queen because she’s into fancy lifestyle and partying, therefore not everyone is happy with the role she has been given in the popular show Generations in SABC 1. Mzansi is against her being on TV for acting because her YouTube videos doesn’t strike them as someone who portrays acting skills.

“Television is business. Them having Mihlali will probably increase their viewership, that’s all they want, talent is not the primary factor” Litha said.

According to Cand Ziziba, it isn’t fair for television to take people with no skills into acting hence they earn R14 000+ a month for being on television whilst they are qualified actors and actresses without jobs.

“If television is business in SA then why are they paying actors ridiculous salaries like R15 000 a month?” Cand asked.

Mzansi isn’t happy at all with South African entertainment industry that continuously give jobs to celebrities and influencers neglecting and closing doors on people that went to Acting schools. Mihlali will be playing a cameo role on Generations The Legacy.
