Do you remember comedian Ashifa Shabba? Here’s what happened to him

Do you recall Shonisani Muleya’s SABC 2 comedy show Ashifa Shabba, also known as Ashifa Shabba?

Ashifa Shabba was raised by his grandmother in Makwarela, a township in Venda, Limpopo province, after his parents divorced. He now lives in Johannesburg. Having been raised by mean parents who made fun of everything, he has developed the ability to cope with difficult situations by turning to humour.

The Limpopo-born comedian and radio host is 46 years old. Ashifa Shabba came from a long line of comics: his grandfather and father were both stand-up comedians. His late grandpa Samuel Nemaenzhe and father Peter Nemaenzhe were well-known family comedians. The year was 1995 when Ashifa Shabba first became a radio personality while still a student at the campus radio station of TNT (Technikon Northern Transvaal).

Despite the fact he vanished from the public eye for a long time, people continue to wonder about him and what he’s been up to recently. Ashiba Shabba is currently a shareholder in both Power FM and Capricorn FM, respectively. In addition, he founded Polokwane’s Energy FM and Venda’s Choice FM. It’s clear that Ashifa Shabba is committed to his work, but he is also committed to his family. Even after their divorce, he remains an excellent father to his children and maintains a cordial relationship with his ex-wife.

Ashifa Shabba has promised that despite his busy schedule on radio, he will return to television and begin a new comedy show. He stated that he will continue to watch television in some capacity.
