Mamzobe, Nobuntu, and Mabusi from Umkhokha

Kwezi is famous for her role in Umkhokha playing Mamzobe’s daughter Nobuntu. This role won her many South African hearts as it provoked a lot of emotions. Nobuntu was the overlooked daughter of the villainous Mamzobe, who was asked to do many evil things to her sister just so her mother could get a church. Nobuntu committed suicide when she was caught trying to poison her sister and brother-in-law but not before confessing that her mother sent her, which led to Mamzobe’s arrest.

Kwezi has been in several roles before Umkhokha, including her role in The Herd playing a young MaMngadi. Her role as Vivian in Isithembiso won her the Best newcomer award. After that, she landed roles on Isibaya and Housekeepers, where she worked these past years.
