Everyone in South Africa is still reeling from the news that their beloved and celebrated rapper, Wizkid, committed suicide on February 23rd in his hometown of Johannesburg. There are numerous unanswered issues surrounding why he did it and what he was thinking at the time. Unfortunately, he did not leave a note before committing suicide, but according to reports, he spoke with someone the day before he committed suicide.
Report
Riky Rick made a phone conversation to a rapper named J Molly the day before he committed suicide, according to a post on Twitter by J Molly. He said that Riky had simply called to see how he was doing. He claims that he confided in Riky about his stress, and Riky disclosed to him that he was experiencing the same emotions as he was. The following is an excerpt from J Molly’s original tweet:
“Riky genuinely contacted me the day before yesterday to see how I was doing. He claimed to be coping with issues that were comparable to his. I wish there was more I could have said to help him understand what I was trying to convey, but I understand what it’s like to be in that place of darkness. No one seems to be able to communicate with you.”
This shows that Riky had no intention of informing anyone of what he was about to do, and he managed to do so without generating any alarm among his peers.
Opinion
It is clear that no one could have spared Riky from committing himself, as he had previously chosen to do. Even after he confessed that he suffers from troubles comparable to those experienced by play hungry hammer, you did not offer him a period when he may be saved from himself. After taking a closer look, it is clear that the rapper did not want to be prevented from committing suicide in any way, and the evidence supports this.
