In typical Mampho style, she barges into House Of Zwide, causes a scene at the reception area and she insists that she isn’t leaving until she speaks to Nkosi. For someone who was escorted out of the building kicking and screaming, Mampho sure is demanding.
She can’t wait to tell Nkosi the news,” says Gaisang, whose character soon walks into Nkosi and she delivers the blow. Mampho tells Nkosi that she’s pregnant with his baby and he is speechless.
Before they speak any further, Nkosi demands that Mampho get a paternity test first, but he isn’t prepared for the results…
Mampho is confident that Nkosi is the father, explains Gaisang. After their one-night stand, Mampho didn’t sleep with anyone, so she’s happy to carry out the paternity test and send Nkosi and the unborn baby’s samples to a lab immediately.
The thought of being Mampho’s babydaddy is incomprehensible for Nkosi considering that he recently rekindled his romance with Shoki (Shalate Sekhabi), who dumped him in January after learning about him and Mampho. He fears that Shoki will end their relationship again if she finds out that Mampho is carrying his baby.
Nkosi is all kinds of anxious while they wait for the results. It doesn’t take long before the lab calls Mampho and Nkosi with news. As Mampho claimed, Nkosi is the father and she couldn’t be happier. This pregnancy is a lifesaver and Mampho is going to use it as her ticket back into House Of Zwide.
Now that it’s official that Nkosi is the father, Mampho returns to the House Of Zwide commune where the interns live and she asks to move in with them while she buys time. “Mampho is set on rebuilding her life. She wants a healthy baby because as long the baby is there, she knows that she’ll be well taken care of by the wealthy Zwide family,” explains Gaisang.
