The recent suicides of actor and performer Patrick Shai back in January and recently that of rapper and fashion icon Riky Rick two weeks ago have left many shocked and at the edge of yet another suicide from the entertainment industry. Both the two fallen heroes sadly hanged themselves, resulting in their untimely death. Shai was discovered by his wife in their garage at his Soweto family home, while Riky was found by his wife, who then called for his management who rushed him to hospital. Riky, real name Rikhado Makhado was certified dead at arrival in hospital.
Many celebrities have now come out speaking about their challenges and what they go through on their daily basis. Actress, model and presenter Minnie Dlamini has spoken out about her problems, Black Coffee has also spoken out and just yesterday, singer Samthing Soweto has also spoken out. In a short video clip, the singer looked sad while he advised people to take care of people whom they love because people are going through a lot. He however did not say or hint that he would end his life, but social media came to his support, encouraging him to stay strong.
