Marah Louw is an actress and songstress who hails from Mzimhlophe, Soweto. Marah was raised by her grandparents whom she was made to believe that they are her biological parents only to discover the truth 34 years after the death of her mother whom she thought was her sister. This was all because she was born out of wedlock, so the grandparents adopted her as their own daughter.

Many remember her for the role she played on the SABC 2’s soap opera Muvhango. Marah portrayed Catherine Mokoena on Muvhango since it’s inception in 1997 until her departure in 2007. She also portrayed Boi Maake on Mzansi Magic’s telenovela The Queen .
