Its almost a year since the public were introduced to a new telenovela Diepcity. The show replaced Isibaya after 8 seasons of broadcast. Diepcity is about 4 high school friends living double lives their families and their comnunity. The girls have a strong bond that now they co own a spares business.

The girls call themselves the wrong turns. Lerato is a slay queen however she’s a loving soul and would do anything for her friends, the character is portrayed by Kgaogelo Monama.

Th Sne character is one of the most educational on the show, she suffered gender based violence, had children at a tender age. Nompumelelo Vilakazi even won an award for how she potrayed this character.

Aka Nox is the main character, she was jailed following the death of her brother. Nokthula seems to be the glue that holds this friendship together. The character is potrayed by Nozuko.Mamfundisi is portrayed by Zikhona Bali, she the mother away from home for the group. How this young lady is able to potray an old woman yet yound lady in one characer is commendable. She’s an excellent actress

Although they’re just collegues however the ladies friendship is very much believable on screen.
