Riky Rick, one of our brightest talents, died unexpectedly, and everyone has been fighting to deal. Some Mzansi celebs chose to express their grief by throwing a magnificent all-white party to honor his life.

Various celebrities, including Nomuzi “Moozlie” Mabena, uploaded snippets of the party on social media. The rapper has admitted to being shocked by the death of a fellow rapper and friend, but she has channeled her sadness into commemorating him in the best way she knows how: by sharing his gift with his other industry loved ones.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The gathering drew a large number of celebrities, including Moozlie. They all came dressed in clothing that paid tribute to Riky’s memories. His sense of style was eclectic.

His Cottonfest outfit, though, was by far his most distinctive look. As a result, it’s no surprise that many of the attendees dressed up in Cottonfest attire, which we believe is a lovely gesture.

They also played a lot of his music, which was a very personal way of connecting with him and his soul, despite the fact that he is no longer with us. The best aspect is that it allowed them to spend time together and take care of each other, which was a key message Riky made clear in numerous interviews leading up to his death.

Riky will be laid to rest in a small private service on Tuesday, March 1st. Only a few individuals would be invited, according to the family, but the ceremony would be streamed live online.
