Riky Rick’s Memorial And Funeral Details Confirmed

The details of the late Ricardo ‘Riky Rick’s Makhado’s funeral and memorial service have been confirmed by his family.

The rapper who has been trending since his untimely death on Wednesday the 23rd of February 2022, just a week after the worlwide celebrated lovers day Valentine’s is to be laid to rest next week. It was reported the rapper was apparently found hanging in his apartment by his friends after he had committed suicide.

People have since been speculating as to what could have pushed the rapper to such an extend of taking his own life. Some have concluded he was suffering from depression and anxiety that was brought to him by both the limelight and cyber bullying.

However, the family has since released a confirmation letter or should I say statement that reveals the family arrangement for both the memorial service and funeral. Although many are used to attending the memorial service first and funeral after, in the is case things will run vice versa.

The family has also reported that the funeral will be held at a private ceremony in Johannesburg, but that doesn’t mean people are not welcomed to join. If you want to be part, the funeral and memorial service will be live streamed. Details will be shared on the day.

He has also been a lead influence on launching some of SA’s household DJ such as Euphonik; Cleo; Kent; Sbu; Monde; Ryan The DJ; Dino Bravo etc.

His electrifying ability to mix house music has landed Fresh on International stages throughout Johannesburg, Miami, London, Cape Town, Moscow, Brisbane, Ibiza, Leeds, Durban, Gaborone, Birmingham, Dubai, Montreal and Melbourne where he shared the DJ booth with “Little Louie” Vega, Armand Van Helden, Oskido, Jazzy Jeff, Ready D, Vinny Da Vinci, Christos, Gregory, Black Coffee, Kshmr, David Guetta, DJ Snake, Dash Berlin, Headhunterz and Martin Garrix.

This is something worth celebrating indeed the country must have been proud of have not only Ndlozi but the whole Africa.
