It has become a norm or rather a culture that in the entertainment industry celebrities will always have that one person who loathes them and sees them as an adversary due to their ability and excellence in doing certain things or rather for not agreeing with them in a conversation.

We have seen so many celebrity best friends turn into frenemies; Natasha and Duma Ntando, Lasizwe and Natasha, Cyan Boujee and Littest 2001, Bonang Matheba and Lerato Kganyago, DJ Cleo and DJ Maphorisa, just to name a few. When Cassper Nyovest made his first debut into the entertainment industry, AKA never showed him love and support but has been bashing him ever since. AKA has always been tweeting nasty things about Cassper and also making him memes.

 

 

 

 

The beef between the two is perhaps the longest beef that has ever lasted in the entertainment industry. Other artists do come together and fix their issues but the two seem not to be keen on reconciling again.

In an interview on YFM, Cassper Nyovest was asked that what is that one thing that Riky Rick did for him and he felt brotherly love. Cassper Nyovest shared that AKA has been bullying him and causing people to turn against him from the very first people knew him and sometimes he would fight for himself and sometimes he would just let it slide.

Cassper went on to say Riky Rick has been there for him and not just him only but for everyone whom he came across. He says there was a time where they were all invited into a gig and Riky Rick went straight to AKA and asked him why does he bully Cassper and when AKA wanted to respond with arrogance, Ricky Rick gave him 5 slaps and then left. This happened behind the stage so no one got to see that moment and AKA never bullied him again ever since.This really became a joke at the table because AKA always claimed how much he is not afraid of Cassper and he will beat him so bad that never rise up as an artist again.

Opinion:
The issue of bullying is growing rapidly in our country from schools, to work places and the entertainment space. Everyone should really look into this and tell themselves that they refuse to be a perpetrator of bullying and will help those around them not to participate in it.

Riky Rick was indeed a brother to everyone and always wanted everyone to have a smile on their face because he knew how being dejected is and never wished that on anyone
