Somizi Buyani Mhlongo Motaung is a well known South African actor, choreographer and media personality. He has been in the entertainment industry for a long time now and he has built a name for himself. He has worked with many high-profile award-winning International musicians like R Kelly and Shakira at the 2010 FIFA World Cup opening ceremony.

He was born and raised in Soweto, Johannesburg in Gauteng Province under the care of both his parents, who were also in the entertainment industry late Ndaba Mhlongo and the late veteran Mary Thwala.

 

 

He is handsome, stylish and fashionable and has a sense of humour and personality. He is also known to many people for being one of the judges on Idols SA reality competition show on Mzansi Magic.
