Lesego Marakalla is a South African actress best known for her role as Rachel Kunutu on the SABC1 youth drama/soapie television series Skeem Saam.

The young actress was born on the 16th of May 1993 in Mpumalanga. So, Lesego Marakalla’s age now is 28 years old but will be turning 29 in May this year. Lesego has always wanted to be an actress and started actively acting while in high school. She also focused on nurturing her acting talent and boost her success in showbiz and acting as a career.

We used to see her on our screens on the SABC1 soapie opera Skeem Saam where she was portrayed as a trouble maker. Rachel was a very naughty child who wanted to do things in her own way. She got married to a man who was older than her, when her mom and Koko Mantsha warned her she never listened until she was in trouble with her husband whom she had to run away from and hide in another country.

Marakalla started acting when she was still in high school, from there she followed her dream and went to Monis Arts House in Pretoria where she furthered her studies.
