Before announcing their divorce on Tuesday, media star Minnie Dlamini and her estranged spouse, television producer Quinton Jones, had been living apart for almost a year.
Following four years of marriage, Dlamini and Jones revealed that they have decided to divorce amicably.
Dlamini stated in an Instagram statement that their issues began two years ago, following a “devastating loss” that resulted in “emotional strain” and “post-traumatic anxiety.”
“Despite our best efforts to absorb the changes in motion,” the pair explained, “the emotional burden and post-traumatic misery of our individual loss overpowered our will.”
According to sources close to the HomeGround sports show host, cracks in her marriage began to show after she moved into her new home in Centurion’s exclusive Copperleaf Golf Estate over a year ago.
According to a source:
Minnie did not move in with Quinton when she moved into the residence. Quinton returned to his hometown to be with his mother and sister. Quinton was not there when she went to Cape Town on holiday with Unathi Nkayi and their friends last year, indicating that they were certain about their breakup.
According to another source, the couple had to put up a unified front when planning their son Netha’s first birthday celebration at the Jaguar Land Rover.
In 2017, Dlamini and Jones married in a lavish wedding in the Western Cape, which was broadcast on Showmax in a three-part series called Becoming Mrs.
