Rosemary Zimu made her debut appearance on Generations the Legacy playing the role of Thembeka, a prostitute. She portrayed the role of leader towards recruiting other girls into prostitution including Tracy and Palesa. Her role as a more experienced s*ex worker in the industry brought her storyline to Gender based violence. Thembeka suffered from abuse at the hands of her boyfriend, that she ended up seeking for help at the women’s shelter.

Her character has resurfaced on our screens as she got approached by Nkosiyabo Cele to be his decoy in setting up Kabisi Moroka. Rosemary brought it all with the character of Thembeka. Viewers were impressed with her role and the fire she brought to the show.

 

The lovely actress has gained herself a lot of followers for the roles she has played in various soapies. Rosemary played the role of Veronica on Isidingo, Lily Juice on e.tv soapie Scandal and Warona on the Queen. Besides her good acting skills, she is a qualified lawyer in real life and an entrepreneur. Rosemary is also a singer and has released an EP titled “Roro says”.
