Senzo Robert Meyiwa who was known as Senzo Meyiwa was a professional South African football player for Soweto giants Orlando Pirates and South African national team which best known as Bafana Bafana.

Senzo was a famous and greats goalkeeper all over South African league. On 26 October 2014, Meyiwa was shot and killed in a robbery at his girlfriend’s house in Vosloorus.

Personally Senzo Meyiwa was born in Durban in a famous township called Umlazi. He was born on 24 January 1984 and passed away at the age of 30 years.

The club honoured him by retiring his jersey number since he passed away nobody has been able to use the squad number.
