More often than not, requesters of marriage on You Promised to Marry Me end up being surprised to see that their partners are not as gentle as they say them to be. A few people have been insulted, assaulted and rejected by partners they thought they’d spent the rest of their lives with.

On last night’s first episode of You Promised to Marry Me, a lady requested Moshe and crew to accompany her to a man she has been with for 13 years and lives with, who has been excusing himself from marrying her because he’s still budgeting. This upset her because 13 years is a long time and even her enemies are already married.

To her surprise, her guy had already bought the ring and was waiting for the perfect time to go on one knee. I think the biggest problem in their relationship was miscommunication because the lady had told him that she does not want a ring and wedding gown but wanted a car instead. In the end, as much as he was taken aback by the fact that she chose to get cameras for him, he still composed himself and didn’t get violent like last week’s man who poured rice and salads over his girlfriend.

To see the couple cry snorty tears for each other was a good sight. The fact that the intention to marry her was there and in motion was also great to watch. He didn’t just waste her years and give her a child, he also put a ring on her finger.

I’ve come to realise that the majority of gays have good taste in fashion, take for instance the South African media/ TV personalities Somizi Mhlongo and Khaya Dladla. They have their own unique fashion/ style.

Khaya Dladla is a popular actor, best known for his character as ‘GC’ he used to play on the SABC 1’s Zulu telenovela; Uzalo. This talented actor has now joined the new Etv’s drama series; House of Zwide, playing ‘Lazarus’.

This 31 year old Umlazi born star recently shared a picture of himself with these other two friends of him; a lady and guy. Khaya’s wearing a ‘bucket’ hat, brown leather shirt, white bum short and red high heel short boots. The caption of the Instagram post reads: “Treasure true friendships… so ON kakhulu”.

After lot of speculations and reports that DJ Tira’s wife, Gugu Khathi has been fired from the reality TV show, Real Housewives of Johannesburg, finally a truth has been shared.

Businesswoman, Gugu Khathi has come out to clear her name of all these false claims that have been made against her name.

Khathi has denied reports that she was let go from the upcoming season of this reality show, Real Housewives of Johannesburg, before her episodes were even aired.

According to a report by City Press, Khathi was allegedly fired from the show alongside her friend, Brinnette Seopela and RHOJ alumni Christall Kay after the trio allegedly got into physical altercation.

Christall as well found out about the upcoming season of the show when the publication called to ask her about it and she stated that it is news to her, she had absolutely no idea that they’re already filming the show. It was the first time she hears of it.

Khathi then turned to a tabloid publication, ZAlebs to deny this.

The publication reported that Khathi sent them a Direct Message (DM), on Instagram and asked them to take down an article they had published about her exit from the show.

The message that Khathi wrote was : Please remove this story, you don’t have your facts right. I have also forwarded this to my attorneys, this is a sensitive matter that is in court. You are clear not informed, I would also check my source if I was you. By Monday (today) morning, if this story is still up, I will have no choice but to demand an apology legally.

This was the message that Khathi threatened the publication with in a screenshot of the private exchange published by the publication.
