Big Brother Mzansi is a reality show that includes South African citizens. The country is known to be a rainbow nation with people from different tribes and races, but the show failed to recognize that, as people of different races were not included in the show like it used to happen. In my opinion, I think people from all nine different provinces could have been included in the show, two from each province, since the total number of contestants who entered the house is eighteen.
I believe the show also failed to bring people with different personalities and who do not relate the same. It’s known in the country we have people who grew up or spent their lives in villages, townships and suburbs, so a mixture of that would have made the house more interesting while teaching each other how things are done out there.
Another problem that was noticed in the show is lack of entertainment. Could it be the show did not have enough sponsors? Last night the house had a party which is a tradition for Big brother’s house on Saturday nights. But the housemates were limited with their alcohol, yes people are supposed to drink responsibly when there is alcohol but housemates Propably didn’t have enough with the few bottles they got. After the party, the housemates were allegedly given a single bottle of alcohol to share with everyone, prompting other housemates to demand more.
Yes, we’re not saying housemates should be able to drink every day, but Saturday is their day to unwind and enjoy themselves after a hectic and stressful week of tasks. Was this show ready to come back? or should they get more sponsors? Will it be difficult for house mates? or the alleged situation may change as the number of housemates decreases?
