In the top tier league in South Africa PSL players are no less than celebrities as they tend to date a number of women.

Many of these much publicised romances begin as friendships and over the years we have seen some PSL stars who happen to date a woman who previously dated a fellow colleague in the industry.

As one of the most celebrated footballers in South Africa Orlando Pirates attacking midfielder Thembinkosi Lorch is more than a footballer but a celebrity and hence as a result his love life is always under scrutiny. Before his current much publicised relationship the 2019 PSL Player Of The Season dated Eastern Cape born beauty Nokuphiwa Mathithibala who is a life coach by profession.

Fast forward to 2022 Miss Mathithibala is very much on the market and as of late she has been spending so much time with Thembinkosi Lorch’s fellow colleague in the industry Andile Jali. A few months ago the Matatiela born footballer had the privilege of being one of the invited guests during Nokuphiwa Mathibalala’s 30th birthday.

As of late the pair have since taken their relationship to the next level as they even keep contact through video calls. However, at this point in time it seems as if the pair are just friends as Nokukuphiwa Mathithibala often refers to the Mamelodi Sundowns box to box midfielder as her brother.

Over a week ago Nokuphiwa Mathithibala who happens to be a huge Mamelodi Sundowns supporter took her Instagram account to make it known that she is proud of Andile Jali after he was named as the DStv Player of the month for December.

Their friendship seems to be much more complicated as during that month in one of the league fixtures Nokuphiwa Mathithibala took to Instagram to share that a “love letter” she wrote might have influenced his performance.
