Death strikes every family on a regular basis, and despite the fact that something will happen to us all, the individuals who are left behind are crushed and still can’t get used to the fact that passing is a way life on earth closes, and if it closes, the individual who was once alive will never be heard from or seen again. This week has been seven days of anguish since it was revealed on Saturday evening that a well-known South African performer had died as a result of suicide. Many people are still surprised by how he died, which was unexpected. His loved ones have been left heartbroken, and the memory of how he died will leave many questions about why he chose to go in that manner.
Another renowned celebrity has lost a friend or family member, and condolences have flooded in for her. Regina King, a well-known American entertainer, has lost her main child, who was only 26 years old. Ian Alexander Jr., Ruler’s lone child, was born to her and her ex, record producer Ian Alexander Sr. Regina and her child were best friends, and he used to accompany her to all of the honorary pathway events.
It is awful when a parent loses their child, and it should be much more upsetting when they die as a result of self-destruction, knowing that if they had disclosed their psychiatric state, they may have received adequate care. Psychological wellness difficulties are real, but it is still something I struggle to take seriously because of how society regards those who suffer from emotional well-being issues. Don’t pass judgment if you or someone you know is experiencing emotional well-being challenges. Allow them to open up and assure them that you are always there for them.
