Since the telenovela House of Zwide aired on TV the main question was when will the truth about Zobuhle comes out. However the story line didn’t give the results of the question and now things seem to be changing and maybe the truth might come out or not nobody knows at this point. The character of Nkosi Zwide has been portrayed as someone who have everything figured out and looking out for his father’s business like every son would do.

When it is said “do not judge the book by its cover” this is the perfect description of Nkosi Zwide. He looks like he has everything in control and with no problems, while he has been using anxiety pills as a coping mechanism over his childhood trauma. He has portrayed that people have demons that they are fighting with and do not want other people to know about. This also shows that no one knows the battles that people fight at night and yet have a smile in the morning as if they slept well while they didn’t.See t he link below:

With what is happening with Nkosi it shows how most people do not open up about battles they are fighting with untill they collapse. It is evident that if Nkosi did not have a breakdown he would have told his family about his nightmares.Nkosi is caught between his father and mother, who is making sure that Nkosi is making a mistake by opening the past as she is covering up for her skeletons. His father on the side wants Nkosi to recall everything that has happened as it might lead him to his long lost daughter.

The Zwide family is made up of people with different values. Will the truth comes to light? Will Nkosi get over the childhood trauma? The writers have portrayed the importance of speaking out and also seeking professional help.Nkosi stands for most people who are suffering with childhood traumas in silence.
