Popular South African Television personality and who was educated in the USA at St Andrews University in Michigan decided to join ZANU PF following his South African exit. It is believed that the man was forced by the authority to leave South Africa because of his migration status. Zimbabweans amaze me! Joshua Maponga came to South Africa in 1999 running away from Zim’s economic mess. Things have gotten worse in Zimbabwe because of ZANUPF. Now Maponga has signed a deal with Mnangagwa to campaign for him in 2023, the same Mnangagwa who made him run away

In 1998, he came to South Africa and also lively briefly in Swaziland, and went to United Kingdom at the end of 1998. before returning to South Africa to focus on his television career.

Some people thinks that Zimbabweans understands that the problems in Zimbabwe have nothing to do with Zanu Pf, the problems in Zimbabwe are caused by sanctions on companies, people are running from sanctions not from Zanu Pf
