Dumi Mkokstad born 1992 in Pietermaritzburg in South Africa is a gospel singer as well as a producer from South Africa. At the tender age of nine years, this top-class artist started his singing in his hometown, Mount Alif, and to date, he has bagged himself several awards including the 2015 Crown Gospel Music Award in the Best Gospel Song category. In addition, he is known for reaching gold status for one of his albums at a very young age. Dumi Mkokstad is married to Ziphosenkosi Mthembu- Ndzimande.

Dumi Mkokstad’s marriage to Dr. Ziphozenkosi Mthembu-Ndzimande in 2019 was one of the highlights of the year in the gospel and entertainment circles, following several reactions the event generated. Taking to social media this week, she said that she is going through a difficult time and that what she is feeling is more than physical anguish since she has lost someone who is like a little brother to her.
