Nomvelo Makhanya is a South African actor and singer who was born on April 24, 1996. She is best known for her roles in Isibaya, Soul City, and Scandal! on television.

She was born in Nkandla, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa, on April 24, 1996.

After a few years, she and her parents relocated to Johannesburg.

She then went on to act in the musical “Sarafina” and decided to pursue a career as a professional artist. She later appeared in The Bald Prima Donn, African Reflections, and Maybe This Time, among other theater works. She portrayed ‘Lindiwe Ngema’ in the eTV drama series Scandal! in 2016.
