There are many different reasons as to why marriages do not work out, reasons that many people are unaware of before getting into marriage. One of which is realizing that you are unhappy in the marriage.

 

 

 

 
This is very common in marriages, people get married and realize that in the marriage they are not happy or living with the person they thought they loved is not as ideal as they thought it was, but for some their marriages fail because they got into the marriage for all the wrong reasons.

This was the case for South African footballer Teko Modise, Teko Modise was married to reality tv star Felicia Mokoena from 2010 until 2013. The two share a beautiful baby girl.

Former Orlando Pirates star Teko, was the latest celebrity to be interviewed on South Africa’s number one podcast, Podcast and chill with MacG. Teko sat down with the host, MacG and shared his story.

He revealed the reason why his first marriage (to Felicia) didn’t work out, when asked the question by MacG, Teko said “I realised that I was not inlove with her”, he also added that the only reason why he married Felicia was because she was pregnant with his first child.

Modise explained that their marriage became difficult because he was not happy with her, it became difficult to do things with her and finally told her that he wanted to end things.

He explained that when he married Felicia, he wanted to give their child a chance to experience a family and wanted to raise her together with her mother in a family setting, which is something that he never had as a child.

He concluded by saying that Felicia is a sweet woman and the issue was that he felt he was not happy.

Teko Modise is currently happily married to Koketso and they have been blessed with a beautiful baby boy.
