Babes Wodumo (Bongekile Simelane, born March 26, 1994) is a South African gqom artist and choreographer. She became famous after the release of her breakout single “Wololo” in 2016. She had a song called “Redemption” on Black Panther: The Album. Wodumo received a nomination for the BET Award for Best International Act: Africa in 2017. Idando Kazi, her second album, was released in July 2020. Lisakhanya Notyesi is her aunt.
