Since Jub Jub and MacG’s podcast aired last week, social media has been abuzz. Molemi Maarohanye, also known as Jub Jub, is his true name. In addition to his work as a musician and entrepreneur in South Africa, he is also a well-known television personality. He is well-known in South Africa for his work as a host on one of the most popular shows, Uyajola 9/9. After doing time in prison, JubJub was released and decided to start at the bottom and work hard to become a better person. To the surprise of the public, he demonstrated that incarceration was not the end of his ambitions.
His fans and the country at large were left disappointed last week following the podcast in which he talked about some of the more heinous things he had done in the past. The South African television actress Amanda Du Pont, best known for her role as Lelo in Skeem Saam, was cited in regard to his romantic relationship. His relationship with Christian’s mother, Kelly Khumalo, was also highlighted by him. Kelly has been denying him contact to his son, he claimed to the public.
After the podcast, things took a turn for the worst when Amanda posted a video of herself accusing him of rape on her social media channels. He allegedly raped and physically abused her during the course of their two-year relationship. Masechaba, a well-known television broadcaster, was among others who accused him of r after Amanda’s exposé. Thousands took to the streets to vent their displeasure at what they perceived as his improper behavior. Moja Love has distanced itself from him once it was proven that he will be prosecuted.
He apologized to the public for his actions in a statement posted to Instagram just a few days ago. He expresses his apologies and regrets for disclosing personal information about him and Amanda. In addition, he stated that he will send over rape cases to the legal department. This lawsuit appears to be going far further than most people expected.
