The murder of former Bafana Bafana and Orlando Pirates captain Senzo Meyiwa in 2014 has remained a mystery, and the latest developments in the ongoing trial have once again brought the issue of intruders into the spotlight.
During a recent court hearing, state witness Mthokozisi Thwala testified that Longwe Twala, the son of music producer Chicco Twala, pushed one of the intruders who was armed with a gun before fleeing Kelly Khumalo’s mother’s house in Vosloorus, Ekurhuleni. However, defence lawyer Sipho Ramosepele rejected Thwala’s evidence and insisted that there were intruders in the house.
