Sad: Mother Of Katlego Who Was Burnt In Thabo Bester’s Cell

Many people were moved to tears by the sight of Katlego Bereng’s mother, who was in court today to listen to the arguments that were being made by lawyers representing those who are accused.

Grieving is evident in her face. There is nothing that can adequately prepare a mother for the news that her child was dealt with in such a manner in the final moments of his life. The mother was seated in the audience along with a number of other individuals who had come to see the proceedings.

Monica Matsie, the mother of Katlego Bereng, whose burnt remains were found in Bester’s cell, was attentively listening to attorney Kagisho Moruri. Katlego Bereng’s body was found in Bester’s cell. He is the one who is representing accused number one and accused number seven, both of whom are believed to have supposedly known Katlego Bereng.

The court heard that the ex-worker at G4S was the dead person’s drinking buddy in the past. The fact that he chose to behave in such a way towards someone he knew before reveals how maliciously he is able to think and act.

During the time that the deceased man’s parents were frantically searching for their son at various mortuaries, the accused was aware of the reality but chose to remain silent about it.

Today in the Bloemfontein Magistrate’s Court, the hearing about the bail application of the five former G4S employees who were detained in connection with helping the Facebook rapist Thabo Bester to escape from prison resumed.

After the attorney claimed that the accused are not a flight risk, some legal commentators speculated that bail would be granted to the defendants today. One of the suspects has already handed over his passport, and he is known to be residing at a specific location.

Outside of the Bloemfontein Magistrate’s Court, the family members and friends of Katlego Bereng were holding a protest in silence as the accused person’s attorney was arguing his case. They are requesting that the judge refuse bail to all of the individuals who have been accused.

The good doctor did not show up to court today. Her attorney has advised her to exercise her right to ask for bail, but she has already filed an urgent application opposing her deportation with the High Court. She has referred to it as an abduction in her statements. On Thursday, the application is going to be discussed in length.
